Edwards Center

The Edwards Center is an Aloha, Oregon-based nonprofit committed to supporting people with living with disability. In November 2010, Rowell Brokaw Architects and Creative Housing Solutions completed the conceptual design for the renovation of the Edwards Center’s 7,000-square-foot headquarters and the development of 5 new residential structures, each with a backyard accessory dwelling cottage.

The design reaffirms the organization’s values by creating an integrated pocket neighborhood that provides choice, independence and a sense of community. The renovation of the Edwards Center itself will allow the organization to grow its program offerings and meet the increasing demand for community-based activities.
