Peter King, AIA
Project Architect
Peter is a Project Architect at Rowell Brokaw Architects and has been with the company since 1998. Before pursuing his master’s in architecture, Peter worked as a carpenter and licensed contractor, and managed construction projects a Massachusetts based housing company, in Japan, Argentina, and England.
Peter's work at Rowell Brokaw has included design work and project management for Head Start facilities, homes for people with developmental disabilities, custom residences, and assisted living facilities in Oregon and California. Peter has also taught Media, Construction Documents, and Design Build at the University of Oregon. His expertise in computer modeling, rendering, and animation allows Rowell Brokaw Architects to produce presentation quality graphics and animated walkthroughs for clients. Peter recently completed work on the newly constructed Senior Center in Silverton, Oregon. He is also leading an office team design group to integrate Building Information Modeling (BIM) design software to the firm's design process.
Peter received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowdoin College in Brunswick Maine and a Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon.
