Barbara Harris

Marketing and Office Manager

Barbara joined Rowell Brokaw Architects in 2006 and brought to the firm an expertise in marketing and office management. With over 15 years of experience in marketing and program administration, she has managed programs and set marketing strategies for both the public and private sectors.

Barbara manages both the direct and indirect marketing functions for the firm and is directly involved at the front-end of many projects including the EWEB Riverfront Master Plan, Lane Community College 4-Projects, Silverton Senior Center, Relief Nursery, Hult Center Lighting Master Plan, and several University of Oregon projects. She also prepares many of the firm's award submissions including the 2009 AIA-SWO Design Awards where Rowell Brokaw Architects receiving three of the seven design awards presented. In October 2010, the AIA-SWO Chapter is hosting the Northwest & Pacific Region (NWPR) Conference in October, 2010. Barbara is part of the 2010 Conference Planning Committee and is the Chair of the Marketing Sub-Committee. She also has been a volunteer on the AIA-SWO People's Choice Committee since 2007.

Barbara is currently the Principal 2nd Violinist with the Riverside Chamber Symphony and has served on many boards including the American Marketing Association SW Oregon Chapter. Prior to joining the firm, she served as the Director of the Jacobs Gallery at the Hult Center where she helped stabilize the gallery after the City of Eugene's funding cuts due to Measure 50 and was the Marketing Coordinator for the University of Oregon Division of Continuing Education. 

Barbara holds a Bachelor's in Art and Music History from Michigan State University and a Masters of Art Administration from the University of Oregon.
