How should we build for a sustainable future? We try to cut through the green marketing to focus on what matters most: whether our projects are as efficient, healthy and long-lasting as possible.

Most clients do not have extra funding for green building features. The good news is that an integrated design process can produce high performance buildings within their budget. We think good design is sustainable design—using material resources efficiently, reducing the need for energy and water, and eliminating downstream waste and pollution. Most importantly, a sustainable building is one that people enjoy and care for, and remains useful long after it has served its original purpose.
