West Eugene Wetlands Educational Center
This project is a joint effort between Rowell Brokaw Architects and The Miller|Hull Partnership. When completed, the Wetlands Environmental Educational Center (WEEC) campus will include a Field Sciences building and Education Center building with multipurpose spaces for classes, lectures, meetings, reference facility, and staff and volunteer offices. It will build a framework for learners to embark on their quest for knowledge and understanding and is a part of the comprehensive effort to create a national model for environmental awareness and stewardship.
Located in West Eugene at the intersection of natural and urban environments, a primary focus of the project is to find was for both environments to coexist.
