Rowell Brokaw Architects has provided ongoing planning and design services for the University of Oregon through Campus Planning, Campus Housing, and other University Departments.

The East Campus Open Space Framework Study demonstrates Rowell Brokaw Architects’ ability to translate the long-standing planning traditions of the University of Oregon into new and complex contexts. Working closely with the University Planning Office staff, Rowell Brokaw Architects developed a simulation tool and planning framework that examined possible scenarios for the expansion of the campus. It accounted for analytical standards while articulating a strong campus character through design guidelines.
