Dan Pyle
Project Manager
Dan is a Designer at Rowell Brokaw Architects and has broad experience in multi-family housing, mixed-use projects, and custom homes. Dan has worked for architecture firms in Maui, Hawaii; Vail, Colorado; and San Diego, California ranging in scope from high-rise buildings to medical facilities and custom homes to residential remodels.
Dan's professional interests are rooted in his island background. Living an active lifestyle in a culturally unique and naturally exotic area with extensive family and community values as well as extreme wealth stratification has left Dan with an understanding of the substantial impact that architecture has on both the natural and built environments and the way people coexist within these environments. Dan continues to look for ways to preserve places and cultures while also developing community values and connections through the design of buildings and their surroundings.
Since coming to work with Rowell Brokaw Architects, Dan has worked on several projects including assisted living facilities in Oregon and Nevada, a home remodel in Corvallis, the Gateway Station project in Springfield, housing for people with developmental disabilities in California, and a mixed-use housing project in Salem. Dan has a holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon. His studies include a study abroad in Denmark and he has traveled extensively throughout Europe and the Pacific basin.
